Ilgaz is the Communications Assistant at ESN Headquarters in Brussels. She holds a Bachelor's degree in English Literature from Bilkent University and a Master's degree in Cultural Studies from KU Leuven, with a focus on the intersection of digital media and gender. In 2021, she completed an Erasmus+ programme at UBO University in France. She was previously the Communications and Events trainee at Bruegel and the Communications Assistant at the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership. She has also been serving as a Communications Consultant for the European Association for Viewers’ Interests since November 2023. She has experience with strategic communications for the European policy and advocacy landscape, with an emphasis on using communications for influence and impact.
