Hello everyone, I'm Pablo and I'm thrilled to share with you my incredible adventure that will take place from May 28th to June 3rd during the Social Impact Days organized by various ESN sections. On this journey, I will visit two countries where their sections host activities on this theme, and you might be wondering where I am going...
Lisbon and Athens, we'll meet soon!
The first stop will be Lisbon, with its yellow trams, and those spectacular viewpoints... I am ready to fall in love with this city and its people. There, I'll join a surf activity for a cause with ESN Lisbon, where we will donate money for a good cause. I'll share more details in my next post.
Then, I will fly to historic Athens, with its blend of ancient history and vibrant modern life that has me counting down the days to get there. I’ll be fortunate to be part of an ESN UniPi activity, where we will clean up Votsalakia Beach.
What do I expect from this experience?
I truly expect great things from this experience. First, I want to be part of something important, the Social Impact Days, and not only be part of it but share it with everyone. That's why, as a passionate audiovisual enthusiast, I plan to use my camera and drone to capture every detail of the experience and share it. Additionally, I want to immerse myself in the local cultures and learn from the ESN people I'll be spending my time with. This trip is not just a personal adventure; it’s an opportunity to give back to the world. Volunteering reminds me that we can all make a difference, no matter how small.
So here I am, preparing my luggage with the right clothes for the sunny weather in Lisbon and Athens (I hope), and of course, making sure my camera and drone are ready to capture every moment.
